MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (Sept. 11, 2003) - East Tennessee State senior Kristen Fletcher (Cookeville) earned all-tournament honors at the Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic at the Bay Tree Golf Plantation. Fletcher, who needed to place in the top five of the tournament to receive the honor, shot a 5-over-par 149 to lead all ETSU golfers in the event. After a 2002-03 season which saw Fletcher finish second on the Bucs roster with an 80.8 stroke average, the senior is expected to lead the Bucs this season. "I'm very happy for Kristen and very pleased with the way she played last weekend," said ETSU head coach Stefanie Reynolds. "I think Kristen can be a true team leader for us this season." The ETSU women's golf team will continue their fall season later this month at the Minnesota Invitational, Sept. 20-21.
