JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 3, 2003) - Saturday's renewal of the football rivalry between East Tennessee State and Appalachian State will be televised live at 3:30 p.m. on Charter/Comcast Sports Southeast. East Tennessee State comes into the game with a 2-3 record, 0-2 in Southern Conference play while Appalachian State is 1-3, 0-1 in SoCon games. This will be the 47th meeting between the two squads, with the Mountaineers holding 32-13-1 advantage over the Bucs. ETSU is aiming to avenge a 29-10 loss to Appalachian State from Memorial Center on Oct. 5 of last season. CSS is a cable sports station that broadcasts to 11 southern states: Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, West Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas.
