JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 4, 2003) - East Tennessee State senior All-America cornerback Tony Tiller (Lithonia, Ga.) has been invited to participate in a second postseason All-Star game. Having already been invited to play in the American Airlines I-AA All-Star Classic Dec. 30 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Tiller has recently been selected to play in the Las Vegas All-American Classic, Jan. 17 from Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The classic is comprised of top players from all major football conferences around the country. Division I-A players from conferences such as the SEC, Big East, ACC, Big 10, Pac 10, Conference USA, Mountain West and WAC will be represented, as well as players from other divisions. Tiller has missed the last two ETSU games with an injury, but continues to lead the Southern Conference with four interceptions. He won Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors as well as several national awards after returning two interceptions for touchdowns against Liberty on Oct. 18. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 4 p.m. EST and will be televised throughout the country on Fox Sports Net to a potential audience of 50 million viewers. More information on the game is available on www.LVAAC.com. The Bucs return to action on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in a Southern Conference game against No. 5 Wofford from Spartanburg, S.C.
