ETSU ranked second in Commisioner's Cup and seventh in Germann Cup

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (June 11, 2003) - East Tennessee State tied for second place in the Commissioner's Cup Standings with 67 points and seventh in the Germann Cup Standings with 59.5 points. The Southern Conference awards the Commissioner's Cup and Germann Cup annually to the top men's and women's athletic programs in the conference. This year, Appalachian State won the Commisioner's Cup for the 13th consecutive year and for the 19th time in the last 20 years, while the Furman Lady Paladins claimed their 11th straight Germann Cup.
