Buccaneer Basketball to Participate in Magical Night of Giving

Johnson City, Tenn. (Nov. 8, 2002) - East Tennessee State's men's and women's basketball teams will appear at the annual Magical Night of Giving, Sunday, Nov. 17 at The Mall at Johnson City. The Buccaneer teams will appear at the event from 7-10 p.m. and will be signing autographs from 8-10 p.m. Local residents are invited to come out and meet this season's Buc and Lady Buc players and coaches. In addition, the ETSU men's team will officially kick off their season with the Buccaneer Basketball Blastoff on Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Firehouse Restaurant in Johnson City. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until 7:30. Head coach Ed DeChellis will broadcast his first radio show of the season that night from 6-7 p.m. on WJCW-AM (910) and fans will have an opportunity to meet with selected members of both the men's and women's basketball teams.
