Stone Mountain, Ga. -- The last respresentatives of the East Tennessee State men's tennis team was eliminated from the ITA All-American prequalifying tournament at the Lincoln Tennis Center in Stone Mountain, Ga. Senior Roberto Fernandez and junior Pablo Sahagun played their third round doubles match against Furman's Chris Henderson and Eric Ward on Sunday. The Furman duo defeated the Bucaneers 8-3 to advance to the qualifying round of the ITA All-American tournament. The ETSU men's tennis team will travel to Columbia, S.C. to compete in the South Carolina Gamecock Invitational on Oct. 19, 2001.
