JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.-- Two Buccaneer men's tennis players were in first-round action from the Tennessee Fall Classic Friday afternoon from Knoxville, Tenn.

Freshman David Poole and sophomore Francisco Diaz both fell in first-round play of the B flight singles bracket. Poole fell to J. Kirts of Louisville and Diaz was defeated by P. McLeod of Stetson.

The ETSU men's tennis team will next be in action Nov. 1 from the ITA Region II Indoor Championships. The championships will be hosted by the University of North Carolina at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Buccaneers will be represented by Gustavo Gomez, Marcos Pavlovich, Juan Yannuzzi, Roberto Fernandez and Pablo Sahagun.
