This week: For the fourth straight year, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association (BASA) are inviting Buccaneer fans to welcome the 2011-12 basketball season at the “Bluenanza” tipoff event presented by Johnson City Honda on Thursday, Oct. 20 inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center.
The Bluenanza – which will be highlighted by scrimmages for both the ETSU men’s and women’s teams, a 3-point shooting contest, and a slam dunk contest – will also feature prize giveaways for both students and fans.
This week: The Bucs (10-12, 3-4 A-Sun) play their last non-conference of the season when they travel to Clinton, S.C. for a match with Presbyterian at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. ETSU then continues Atlantic Sun play over the weekend as the Bucs welcome Mercer and Kennesaw State to town. ETSU will face Mercer on Friday at 7 p.m. before closing the weekend against Kennesaw State at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Last week: ETSU went 2-1 on the week after defeating Wofford and Stetson, while falling to Florida Gulf Coast.
Promotion: ETSU will be looking to “Book the Bears” on Friday night – fans who donate a kids book will get in for just a Buc ($1). Saturday’s contest will be the annual “Pink Zone” match, which raises money for cancer research. Fans that wear pink will receive admission for just a Buc ($1).

This week: ETSU (8-4-2, 2-3-1 A-Sun) hits the road for just one match this week. The Bucs will travel to Macon, Ga. for an A-Sun showdown with Mercer on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Last week: The Bucs went 1-0-1 on the week. ETSU opened up the weekend with a scoreless tie against Stetson before knocking off Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday afternoon.

This week: ETSU (11-4-0, 6-1-0 A-Sun) returns home for a pair of Atlantic Sun matches as the Lady Bucs take on Kennesaw State at 7 p.m. Friday and Mercer on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Last week: The Lady Bucs went 1-1 on the week as they defeated Stetson on Friday night before falling to league-leading Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday.
Promotion: Friday’s match will be a “Faculty Spotlight” where the student-athletes will invite their favorite professor to be recognized. It is also “Facebook Friday” – look for the coupon on the Official ETSU Buccaneer Facebook Page. The Lady Bucs will be looking to “Book the Bears” on Sunday – donate a kids book and get in for a Buc ($1). It will also be Senior Day for the three ETSU seniors.

This week: The ETSU men’s golf team will conclude the fall season at the U.S. Collegiate Championship beginning on Sunday in Alpharetta, Ga. The three-day tournament will conclude on Tuesday with 18-holes being played each day.
Last week: The Bucs hosted the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at Blackthorn Club over the weekend where they finished in ninth place out of 15 teams.

This week: The ETSU women’s golf team concludes its fall season at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. The event will get underway on Sunday morning.
Last week: ETSU finished sixth out of 20 in the team standings at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate in Greenville, N.C.
