JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 30, 2011) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics launched a new method of showcasing the University and Athletic Department via a Digital Information Guide, which was placed on ETSUBucs.com on Tuesday afternoon.
The Guide, powered by Summit Athletic Media, contains 24 pages and covers topics ranging from Athletic Success and Campus Life, to the Tri-Cities Region and Academic Support. This piece includes full color photos and videos on each page, and also provides links to respective websites throughout the guide.
“This new, digital media guide is an example of how technology has changed the way we do business throughout intercollegiate athletics,” said Michael White, Associate Athletic Director for Communications. “Now, current and prospective student-athletes can learn more about ETSU and find answers to their questions about the Buccaneer program simply through the click of a mouse. It is important to point out that this was a project that required a great deal of cooperation between multiple areas of the athletic department, and it would not have been possible without the specific efforts and talents of Kevin Brown, our assistant director for media relations, and John Stevens, from the Buccaneer Sports Network. Kudos to both of them on a job well done.”
The Digital Information Guide will be displayed on the ETSUBucs.com homepage, while also on the media guide pages for the specific sport teams.
