SOUTH BEND, Ind. (May 7, 2011) â€" ETSU senior Nina Muehl (Vienna, Austria) shot an up and down 6-over 78 during the final round of the NCAA Central Regional hosted by Notre Dame at the Warren Golf Course on Saturday.
Muehl got off to a slow start on Saturday after bogeying her first three holes of the day, but a birdie on her fourth hole got her going in the right direction. Muehl recorded another bogey and four pars to complete the first nine holes at 3-over 39.
The second nine holes started out well for Muehl as she made a par at the first and a birdie at the second. However, she made double bogey on the third to drop two more shots. The Buccaneer senior playing as an individual could not get anything going for the rest of the round as she matched her first nine score on the second nine with a 3-over 39.
Muehl finished the event at +18 (80-76-78â€"234) after the three rounds and is tied for 82nd at the moment, but there are still many players that have not completed their third rounds. A lightning delay has suspended play during the afternoon rounds.
