BUIES CREEK, N.C. (March 10, 2008) - The ETSU baseball team jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but would relinquish ten unanswered runs as the Bucs would be swept by Campbell at Taylor Field in Buies Creek, N.C. on Monday afternoon, 11-1.

In the fifth inning, with two outs and runners on first and third Anthony Russell (Waldorf, Md.) would hit a screamer back up the middle as the pitcher Dan Gardo would rob Russell making an outstanding stab on the mound to get the out.
In the seventh, Ryan Hamme singled up the middle driving in another run to make score 10-1.
