ELON, S.C. (Aug. 31, 2007) - Freshman Desiree Dyck (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) had her fifth consecutive game with 12-plus kills, leading the ETSU volleyball team to a win over Elon in four games, 30-24, 30-16, 22-30, 30-23.
"I am very pleased with our performance today," said Bucs head coach Lindsey Devine. "Offensively we were very strong. Desiree is a spark plug, and a couple of her swings really lifted the team."

"I think as the match went on we did well in keeping our composure and playing with confidence," said Devine. "Britney did a great job coming off of the bench for us and helped keep some rallies going."
ETSU handed Elon its first defeat of the season, while the win pushes the Bucs to a 4-1 mark after their first five matches of the early season.
