JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 25, 2005) -- Over 150 members of the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics volunteered their time on Thursday to assist incoming students with Move-In Day.
Student-athletes from volleyball, soccer, baseball, men's basketball, women's golf, women's basketball, track & field, women's tennis, cross country, softball and men's tennis all participated. In addition, members of the ETSU athletic administration and the BucSports Athletic Medicine Center made time to leave their duties at Memorial Center and help with the cause.
"The students at ETSU are extremely important to us because they make up a large portion of our fan base," said ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dave Mullins. "We want their support by coming out to our games, so it's only appropriate that we give back by helping out today."
Classes at ETSU begin on Monday, Aug. 29, with the Bucs opening up athletic competition in both women's soccer and volleyball this week.
