CULLOWHEE, N.C. (November 8, 2005) - The East Tennessee volleyball team closed out its regular season schedule on a high note on Tuesday night, picking up a convincing 3-0 win over Western Carolina in Ramsey Center. "It's definitely good to get back on track and win on the road, since we will be on the road going into Conference," said head coach Lindsey Devine. "Everyone got to get out on the floor and contribute to the win. It was a great all-around effort, with great execution and mental focus."
The Lady Bucs were also tough on defense, blocking 13.0 Catamount attack attempts. Senior Sara Scandiffio (Purcellville, Va.) led the way with five blocks assists and one solo stop. Sartor tallied four block assists and two on her own, while sophomore Callie Kiselich (Colorado Springs, Colo.) contributed in four assists.
