(January 10, 2005) - A's on a report card is about to do more than just keep mom and dad happy at home for elementary and middle school children.

Stating when the Bucs take on Jacksonville University at the Memorial Center on Saturday, January 14, children who earned at least one A in Math, Science, English or Social Studies will receive free admission to the ETSU basketball game of their choice.

WJHL and the East Tennessee State Athletics Department have teamed up for the promotion that will reward elementary and middle school kids for good grades.  Brains and Basketball, as it will be called, will allow kids in elementary or middle school to attend one ETSU Men's Basketball game free if they have earned at least one A.  The child needs to just bring their report card to the game of their choice and present it for a free youth ticket.
