Johnson City, Tenn. (Mar. 27, 2002) -- The East Tennessee State softball team fell in both ends of a doubleheader against South Carolina, 9-0 and 14-0, in softball action Wednesday night from Beckhan Field in Columbia, S.C. The Bucs (13-15) were no-hit in game one, as Gamecock pitcher Megan Matthews recorded 12 strikouts and threw just eight balls in the five-inning win. ETSU's only baserunner came as sophomore catcher Sheryl Clark (Bradenton, Fla.) was hit by a pitch in the top of the second.
