JOHNSON CITY, TENN. - In addition to enjoying East Tennessee State baseball this coming week, fans from the Tri-Cities community can participate in promotional days at Cardinal Park.
On Saturday, March 25, when the Bucs host Georgia Southern in a Southern Conference doubleheader at 1 p.m., ETSU will conduct a "Kids Day" for fans 18 and younger. The first 200 fans 18 and younger to enter the ballpark for the first game will receive a free hot dog. There will also be events and an autograph session with the ETSU Diamond Girls. Admission for fans 18 and younger is $1. "Kids Day" is sponsored by the Hot Dog Hut located in Kingsport, Tenn.
When the Bucs host the University of Tennessee at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, fans are invited to help the less fortunate by contributing to ETSU's Clothing/Canned Food drive. All fans are asked to bring clothing and canned food to the ballpark with all proceeds going to Goodwill and the Salvation Army.
ETSU and the Buccaneer baseball program would like to thank the Tri-Cities community for its continued support.
