Chad Hyder (Kingsport, Tenn.), also a member of the Buccaneer football team, finished seventh in the shot, throwing 45'08.50 and 12th in the weight throw (39'10.00). "Coach Walker and I are really excited to have Chad and Marcus come out to help make our men's team stronger," said Byrne. Rhett Ezell (Chattanooga, Tenn.) finished second in the high jump with a jump of 6'04.00. "Rehtt showed promise Saturday going into the conference meets," said Byrne. "This meet allowed us to get an early look at the team and we now have a much better feel for what our strengths and weaknesses are going into the holiday break," said Byrne. "We have a very talented men's and women's team, but it is imperative for them to work hard over the break."
