Wednesday, February 05, 2014

ATHENS, Ga. (Feb. 5, 2014) - Following a 5-2 road win at No. 58 Yale, the ETSU men's tennis team will look to continue its winning ways when it travels to Georgia this weekend to take on a No. 4 Georgia in Athens, and Georgia State and No. 61 Wichita State in Atlanta.

LAST TIME OUT

The Buccaneers (2-5) moved up one spot in the ITA rankings to No. 67 after earning a road victory over nationally-ranked Yale Sunday, Feb. 2. The win capped a weekend in which the Bucs split matches with Ivy League Opponents. ETSU fell to Dartmouth, Friday, Jan. 31.

Roger Ordeig, Ricardo PabonSebastian Yllera, and Ismael Merino each picked up a singles win in the win over Yale. Yllera also paired with David Biosca to take the No. 2 doubles spot, while Pabon and Conner Huertas Del Pino came away victorious at No. 3 doubles.
