The Dons earned their only point when junior Predrag Burmazovic (Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro) fell to Matthew Berry in the No. 1 slot in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4.

"I think we were very solid today. When we were traveling out here our plane blew an engine and it wound up taking us over 36 hours to get here," said head coach Yaser Zaatini. "We played as good as can be expected under the circumstances with a lack of practice and the different weather conditions."
