ETSU men's tennis picks up win against Gardner-Webb, 7-0
Friday, March 24, 2006 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 24, 2006) - The ETSU men's tennis team continued their winning ways, beating conference foe Gardner-Webb, 7-0 in the Memorial Center. The Bucs who are on a 10-game winning streak are now 16-5 on the year while Gardner-Webb falls to 2-15.
Today's vicotry marks the third consecutive season the Bucs have gone undefeated in conference regular season play.

In singles action, the Buccaneers again dominated Gardner-Webb winning five of the six matches in straight sets. In No. 1 singles Oscar Posada defeated Roberto Vasques, 6-4, 6-3, while Felix Insaurralde defeated Taylor Ferrier, 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 2 slot. Freshman Enrique Olivares defeated Brad Clinard, 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 3 position. Lisandro Picardo defeated Gabe Veiga, 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 4 slot while Sebastian Serrano defeated Kim Ellis, 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 5 position.
