Posada and Salazar Compete in Singles at Omni-ITA Region II Indoor

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (October 24, 2003) - Oscar Posada (Valencia, Venezuela) and Alejandro Salazar (Arequipa, Peru) competed in the first day of main draws competition in the third day of the Omni-ITA Region II Indoor Championships in Chapel Hill, N.C. Posada defeated Wofford's Brett Johnson 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the second round where he fell to the number one seeded Mat Cloer 6-3, 6-3. While Salazar fell in the first round of main draws competition 7-5, 6-4, to Jose Muguruza of Georgia Tech.
