Anderson, who finished last season ranked 30th in the country by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and is the Yellow Jackets' No.1 singles player, defeated Iglesias 6-1, 6-4. Iglesias earned the bid to the championship match by defeating Evan Austin of Kentucky 2-6, 6-4, 6-3, in the semi-finals. "Diego had a great tournament and picked up four quality wins," said ETSU head coach Dave Mullins. "I'm very proud of everybody's effort. ETSU senior Francisco Diaz (Weston, Fla.) won his B-2 consolation finals match over Sean Voorhies of Lander University 6-2, 6-4. Diaz and sophomore teammate Moises Serrano(Bucaramanga, Colombia) fell to Rehman Esmail and Will Shaw of North Carolina State 8-6 in the B-1 doubles finals.
