The Bucs took the lead early by winning the doubles point. In No. 1 doubles Oscar Posada (
In singles action, Oscar Posada was defeated by Or Dekel, 2-6, 6-2, 10-7, in the No. 1 slot, while Felix Insaurralde defeated Marcus DiGliodo, 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 2 position. In No. 3 singles, Juan Crosa defeated Justin Malina, 6-4, 6-1. In the No. 4 position, freshman Enrique Olivares defeated Omer Abramovich, 4-6, 6-2, 10-8, while in the No. 5 slot Lisandro Picardo defeated Mike Reynolds, 6-1, 6-1. Sophomore Sebastian Serrano defeated Perry Allen, 6-2, 6-4 in the No. 6 position.
