            WINDERMERE, Fla. (Oct. 27, 2009) - The ETSU men's golf team moved up the standings for the second straight day, ultimately finishing 10^th following third and final round action Tuesday in the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational at the Isleworth Country Club.

            Facing a 15-team field that included 12 teams ranked in the Top 25 - including six of the country's Top 10 teams - the Bucs overcame a tough first round to bounce back for a solid finish in the second and third round. No. 1-ranked Oklahoma State captured the team championship by five strokes over No. 10 Florida, while No. 5 Stanford finished in third. The Bucs finished ahead of highly-ranked teams such as No. 2 Arizona State, No. 3 Washington and No. 23 Clemson.

Individually, Alabama's Bud Cauley held on for the tournament title after posting a final round 72 to finish at 5-under 211. Cauley bested Stanford's Sihwan Kim by one stroke.

The Bucs were led individually by junior Rhys Enoch (Cornwall, England), who finished tied for 22^nd despite posting a discouraging 8-over 80 on the final day. Enoch finished at 9-over 225 for the event. During the third round, ETSU got a strong performance from freshman Garth McGee (Bangor, Northern Ireland), who carded a team-best score of 1-over 73 on the final day.

Other ETSU results included a tie for 39^th by both sophomore Devin Komline (Dorset, Vermont) and senior Seamus Power (Waterford, Ireland), while sophomore Michael Stewart (Troon, Scotland) finished tied for 50^th.
