ETSU men's golf back in Top 25
Friday, March 27, 2009

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 27, 2009) - As the ETSU men's golf team prepares to get back on the course Monday, March 30, in the Larry Nelson Collegiate Invitational in Braselton, Ga., the Buccaneers are back where they expect to be.

ETSU moved up to No. 25 in the Golfweek/Sagarin national rankings earlier this week, and the team is currently No. 26 in the computer rankings. The Bucs will look to improve on those marks over the next few weeks, as they will also play in the U.S. Collegiate Championships beginning April 5 in Alpharetta, Ga., and the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate beginning April 11 in Columbus, Ohio. Those three events will be the final tune ups for the Bucs before taking on Atlantic Sun Conference foes in the A-Sun Championships scheduled for April 20-22 in Buies Creek, N.C.
