ETSU men's golf now No. 24 in Golfweek/Sagarin ranking

Wednesday, November 05, 2008

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 5, 2008) - On the strength of a second place showing in its own Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at the Ridges just over a week ago, the ETSU men's golf team has moved back into the Top 25 nationally according to the most recent Golfweek/Sagarin computer rankings.

The Buccaneers, who finished just one stroke back of Coastal Carolina in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, were led by sophomore Rhys Enoch (Cornwall, England), who finished at 1-under-par 215 in a tie for second place with four other players.

ETSU will not play another event this fall and will likely enter the spring season with their Top 25 ranking. For more on ETSU men's golf throughout the winter months, visit ETSUBucs.com and click on the men's golf link.
