RALEIGH, N.C. (April 8, 2005) - With severe weather causing the postponement of Friday's second round and scheduling conflicts causing the the cancellation of Saturday's third round, the East Tennessee State University men's golf team currently finds itself tied for 13th on the team leaderboard in the Courtyard by Marriott Intercollegiate hosted by N.C. State at the Devils Ridge Golf Club's Black Course. The tournament will conclude with the completion of second round play on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.

The Buccaneers, who were led by an even-par 72 in the first round by sophomore Rhys Davies (Bridgend, Wales), are currently 33 strokes back of team-leading Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons hold a three-stroke advantage over ACC rival Duke. On the individual leaderboard, Davies is tied for 14th and 10 strokes back of Georgia Southern's Aron Price, who leads at 12-under for the tournament.

Other ETSU results of note include freshman Cian McNamara (Limerick, Ireland), who is tied for 32nd, and freshman Gareth Shaw (Lisburn, Northern Ireland), who is tied for 51st.
