Multiple ways offered to stay up-to-date as ETSU takes on Wildcats

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 10, 2010) - As the ETSU men's basketball team prepares for one of its most anticipated regular season openers ever, the Buccaneers are pleased to offer multiple ways for their fans to enjoy the game.

The Bucs, who will open their 2010-11 season at 7 p.m. Friday night against the Kentucky Wildcats in storied Rupp Arena, are coming off back-to-back Atlantic Sun Conference championships and two straight trips to the NCAA Tournament. While the Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association will be taking two sold-out buses to Lexington, Ky., so fans can watch the game live, there are also opportunities to watch or listen to the game for those fans that will be staying home.

The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host official "watch" parties at both Fanatics Sports Restaurant in the Doubletree Hotel and at 112 Downtown Sports Bar on Friday evening. Fans are encouraged to come out at both restaurants to cheer on the Bucs.

For those fans interested in watching the game on their own, the television broadcast will be available on the Fox SportsNet family of stations (check local listings and cable/satellite providers for the channel in your area). In addition, ESPN3.com, ESPN360.com, and the ESPN Fullcourt college pay-per-view package will also have the game broadcast.

As always, the Buccaneer Sports Network will also be airing the game live via its usual family of radio stations, which includes the following on Friday night:

WXSM-AM (640) Tri-Cities
WJCW-AM (910) Tri-Cities
WRGS-AM (1320) Rogersville
WRGS-FM (94.7) Rogersville
ETSUBucs.com Live Web Broadcasts

In addition, live stats and a live audio stream of the game will be accessible at ETSUBucs.com.
