Bucs to face Ragin' Cajuns in third-place game of Rainbow Classic

HONOLULU, Hawaii (Dec. 21, 2007) - The ETSU men's basketball team will face Louisiana Lafayette Saturday night in the third-place game of the 44th annual Rainbow Classic. Tip is set for 10 p.m. EST from the Stan Sheriff Center.

 

The Bucs' journey to the right side of the bracket included them defeating SEC member Georgia Thursday evening, before falling to Saint Mary's Friday night in the semifinals. Louisiana Lafayette began the tournament with an upset over host Hawaii on Wednesday, and then lost to Ohio in the second semifinal match-up Friday night.

 

Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
