SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (Nov. 23, 2006) -- The ETSU men's basketball team will be attempting to rebound from a non-conference loss to former Ohio Valley Conference foe Morehead State this weekend at the South Padre Island Invitational.

The Bucs, who fell to Morehead 77-56 on Tuesday night, face off with Sam Houston State in the first round of the Thanksgiving tournament on Friday beginning at 8 p.m. (EST). ETSU, which stands at 2-3 on the season, will play in the second mid-major game of the day, following Delaware State vs. Southern at 5:30 p.m. (EST). Winner's and loser's bracket games are scheduled for Saturday, with the winners playing at 5:30 and the losers playing at 8 p.m.
