RADFORD, Va. (Dec. 8, 2000) -- The East Tennessee men's basketball team fell to Radford, 68-66 on Friday, Dec. 8 at the Dedmon Center. ETSU was led by Dimeco Childress who had 13 points.

Four Radford players scored in double figures.

Radford (4-4) was led by Jason Williams, who scored 20 points. Andrey Savtchenko and Corey Watkins each had a double-double, combining for 22 points and 21 rebounds. Watkins also blocked five shots.

East Tennessee State (3-5) was led by Dimeco Childress, who scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds. Isaac Potter added 10 points.

East Tennessee State held Radford to a 26-percent field goal percentage in the first half, and led 36-30 at the half.

Radford returned in the second half with 44-percent field goal shooting and held East Tennessee State to 37-percent.
