Thursday, April 04, 2013

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 4, 2013) – As plans continue in preparation for the start of its new football program, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host the first of many gatherings for former football players on Saturday, April 13 inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center.

Players are asked to arrive at the Dome by 10 a.m., with a greeting from ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland scheduled to begin the day’s festivities at 10:30 a.m.. The gathering will be used to share information about the new program, provide details about the new Kickoff Fund for football, and to answer any questions former players may have regarding Buccaneer football.

Following the meeting, there are plans to tailgate at Thomas Stadium prior to the baseball team’s game against Lipscomb Saturday afternoon.

Send questions and requests for more information to Lee Morrow at morrow@etsu.edu.
