Johnson City, Tenn. (July 2, 2002) - Junior Tony Tiller (Lithonia, Ga.) and senior Cecil Moore (Morristown, Tenn.) of East Tennessee State's football team were selections to The Sports Network's 2002 Division I-AA Preseason All-America team the organization announced today. Tiller was a first team selection while Moore was an honorable mention pick. Tiller, in just his first season as a cornerback, led the Southern Conference in interceptions last season with seven, placing him in a tie for fifth-place in the nation in 2001. A second team All-SoCon player last season, Tiller led ETSU in pass break-ups with 13 and finished third on the squad in tackles with 55. A two-time All-SoCon performer, Moore was the leagues leading receiver last season, hauling in 57 passes for 908 yards and five scores. Going into his final season with the Bucs, Moore is fifth on ETSU's all-time receptions list (117) and fourth on the all-time reception yardage list (1,806). Ranked as high as eighth in the preseason polls, ETSU opens the 2002 campaign at North Carolina State on August 31 at 7:00 p.m.
