LUBBOCK, Texas (June 21, 2011) " Junior Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) was named one of three finalists for the 2011 John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award, the College Baseball Hall of Fame announced on Tuesday.

Reeder joins Danny Hultzen of Virginia and Cody Fick of Evansville as a finalist for the Olerud Award which recognizes the top player in the country who makes an impact both on the mound and at the plate.

"This is a very strong list of players," said Cory Flores, co-chair of the Olerud Award committee. "These three guys had really incredible seasons."

Fick, a 23rd-round pick of the Philadelphia Phillies, hit .406 with nine home runs and 71 RBIs. On the mound, he was 7-4 with a 2.36 ERA.

The winner of the John Olerud Award will be named on July 3 in Lubbock, Texas, as part of College Baseball's Night of Champions.
