Tuesday, March 08, 2011

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 7, 2011) - The ETSU baseball team is set to host Furman in a non-conference game Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. at Cardinal Park.

The Bucs (6-2,1-0 A-Sun) have won two straight games after coming from behind to beat both UNC Asheville 13-5 and USC Upstate 6-4 in extra innings last week. Junior Dylan Pratt (Johnson City, Tenn.) has come up big for ETSU lately as he had the game winning hits in both games.

ETSU is currently 34-34 all-time against the Paladins with the last meeting coming in 2007 when the Bucs won both games on the season.

Furman (6-6, 1-1 SoCon) split a pair of games against Davidson this past weekend. The Paladins are led by Will Millier as he is hitting .400 on the season with two doubles, two triples and six RBI.
