Bucs head to UNC Asheville for mid-week contest

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 1, 2011)
-The ETSU baseball team is set to head to Asheville, N.C. for its first road game of the season as the Bucs play UNC Asheville Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Field.
 
The Buccaneers (4-2) won their second straight series this past weekend winning the first two games of the Rider series. Senior Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) continues to pace the team hitting .526 with two doubles, two home runs and seven RBI.
 
ETSU is 24-19 all-time against the Bulldogs as the Bucs have won seven of the last eight games between the two teams including all three games in Asheville, N.C.
 
UNC Asheville (4-3) comes into the contest on a three-game skid after opening the season with four straight wins. The Bulldogs dropped a three-game series to Atlantic Sun rival Campbell in Buies Creek, N.C. UNCA is led by senior outfielder Danny Baatz who is hitting .355 with six RBI.
