Bucs swept by Hatters

The Hatters tied the game at 2-all in the bottom of the third on a two-run single by centerfielder Casey Frawley. Later in the inning, Stetson took a 5-2 lead on a three-run home run by Aaron Crittenden. Stetson added another run in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI double by short stop Jacob deGrom to take a 6-2 lead. In the bottom of the fifth, right fielder Jeremy Cruz increased the Hatters lead to 7-2 on a RBI single to right. The Bucs answered in the top of the sixth as right fielder Derek Trent ( Stetson first baseman Kyle Maulbetsch homered in the bottom of the sixth to extend Hatters lead to 8-4. Senior Darren Caldwell ( The Hatters added an insurance run in the bottom of the seventh on a RBI single by catcher Nick Rickles to put Stetson in front 9-4. ETSU narrowed the gap in the top of the eighth on Hoilman's second home run of the day as he crushed a two-run home run over the fence in left to make the score 9-6. The Hatters scored two more runs in the bottom of the eighth on a RBI triple by Frawley and a RBI single by Cruz to take an 11-6 lead.
