JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Mar. 18, 2005) - The East Tennessee State baseball team will play their first Southern Conference home series this weekend, hosting Georgia Southern from Cardinal Park in Johnson City, Tenn. The Bucs come into the series with a record of 11-2, 2-1 in SoCon games after taking two out of three from Furman last weekend. Georgia Southern is 10-7, 3-0 in conference, and is coming off of a 9-4 win over Georgia on Tuesday night.

            Friday's game is set for 7 p.m., Saturday's game will start at 2 p.m. while Sunday's first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday night's game will also be broadcast on the Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
