ETSU Baseball to face Tennessee Tech Tuesday evening

(May 10, 2005) - The East Tennessee State baseball team travels to Cookeville, Tenn. Tuesday night for a non-conference matchup with Tennessee Tech at 7 p.m. (EST) from Averitt Express Stadium. Live stats are available this evening and the game will be broadcast on the Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

            The Bucs are looking to win their second game against the Golden Eagles this season, as ETSU defeated Tennessee Tech, 12-5, on Apr. 13 from Cardinal Park in Johnson City, Tenn. Senior catcher Caleb Moore (Knoxville, Tenn.) drove in five runs in the victory while junior first baseman Blake Church (Roswell, Ga.) had four RBIs.

            Freshman righty Robbie Campbell (Lothian, Md.) will get the start for the Bucs, his second of the season. Campbell was victorious in his first start of the season, on Apr. 27 against Radford. In that game, Robbie went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits while walking one and striking out four. On the season, Campbell has made seven appearances, pitching 12 innings and going 1-0 with a 5.25 ERA.
