ETSU-Western Carolina series opener rained out

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Apr. 2, 2004) - Friday night's opener of this weekend's Southern Conference baseball series between East Tennessee State and Western Carolina has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Johnson City area. The Buccaneers and Catamounts will instead play a double-header Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. from Cardinal Park. East Tennessee State will start sophomore righty Jeremy Hall (Gray, Tenn.) in game one and senior lefty Tim Turner (Marietta, Ga.) in game two. The Catamounts will counter with sophomore righty Caleb McConnell and junior lefty Brad Josey.
