JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 9, 2003) -- East Tennessee State baseball fans will be able to follow all of this weekend's action on the internet, as the Buccaneers get set to face Furman in a three-game series at Greenville, S.C. The two teams will begin play Friday night at 7 p.m. Tonight's probable starting pitchers are Tim Turner for ETSU and Furman's Jon Stallsmith. Stallsmith is a senior right-hander with a 3-4 record this season to go along with a 3.39 ERA. Turner, a 6-foot-2 southpaw, is 2-5 on the hill with a 5.69 ERA. ETSU enters the series with an overall record of 14-29 and is 9-14 in Southern Conference games. The Paladins are 25-21 overall with a 14-13 mark in the SoCon.
